Reminiscent of beachside BBQs of yesteryear, the base for Auckland Bridge Climb and Bungy has been affectionately dubbed ‘The Bach’. It is an inner-city haven located on the waterfront at Westhaven Marina. Easily accessible and with amazing views over the harbour, the Bach creates an inspiring, relaxed atmosphere - the ideal location for any event.

We commonly cater to large corporate groups looking to combine Bridge Climb and Bungy with drinks and snacks afterwards on our large outdoors covered deck. Ideal for a summer get together, and sheltered in the cooler months, making this an all season’s option. The use of this space is free if your group is doing an activity with us, (minimum 10pax).

THE VENUE

"The Bach" at Auckland Bridge is a hidden gem nestled along on the shore of the Waitematā Harbour, offering a waterfront function space right in central Auckland. This charming bach (a Kiwi term for a holiday cottage) provides the perfect setting for corporate events and groups.

HOURS

Our standard operating hours are 9:00am-4:30pm. On request services include - operating the activities until nightfall and your group can enjoy FREE use of the Bungy Bach until 7:30pm.

CAPACITY

The Bach has a total maximum capacity of 100 across two distinct areas available for hire. These are;

Inside:

Max pax 25 (seated); 50 pax (cocktail)

The Deck:

Max pax 25 (seated); 50pax (cocktail)

ACTIVITIES

Auckland Bridge Bungy

15 guests per 2 hours, additional 15 guests per every subsequent 15mins

Your team are able to spectate the bungy from either inside the bungy pod, or on a nearby spectator platform below!

Auckland Bridge Climb

15 guests per 2 hours, additional 15 guests per every subsequent 15mins. Bridge Climb has a maximum of 70 people on the bridge at any one time.

DIY option
Enjoy FREE use of our Bungy Bach and covered outside deck. Includes use of our on-site BBQ, drinks bins and you can BYO Beer, Wine & Spirits. This makes for a great budget friendly food & beverage option for your corporate team event. This relaxed space with its all-weather cover includes built-in seating, bar leaners, and stools. There are no corkage fees. You're welcome to drop off ice before you're booking, and we'll make sure all your drinks are chilled and ready for when your team completes the activities!

Catering Options
Choose anything from a simple tea & coffee station, small bites, packed lunches, sharing platters, fully cooked meal or food trucks. Feel free to ask us about catering providers in Auckland if you'd like a recommendation! Otherwise, please have your preferred company contact us so we can confirm what facilities we have available for them to use. Contact us for more details.

ENTERTAINMENT

In addition to Bridge Climb and Bungy, we can provide some lawn games upon request. You are welcome to arrange and hire a DJ for an added vibe!

SERVICES

If you need any specific theming, props or furniture, you're welcome to hire loungers, bar leaners and any other furniture for your event from third party companies.
