THRILLS AND CHILLS ON THE WATERFRONT

Reminiscent of beachside BBQs of yesteryear, the base for Auckland Bridge Climb and Bungy has been affectionately dubbed ‘The Bach’. It is an inner-city haven located on the waterfront at Westhaven Marina. Easily accessible and with amazing views over the harbour, the Bach creates an inspiring, relaxed atmosphere - the ideal location for any event.

We commonly cater to large corporate groups looking to combine Bridge Climb and Bungy with drinks and canapes afterwards on our large outdoors covered deck. Ideal for a summer get together, and in the cooler months patio heating can be arranged making this an all season’s option. The use of this space is free if your group is doing an activity with us.

THE VENUE

"The Bach" at Auckland Bridge is a hidden gem nestled along on the shore of the Waitematā Harbour, offering a waterfront function space right in central Auckland. This charming bach (a Kiwi term for a holiday cottage) provides the perfect setting for corporate events and groups.

HOURS

Our standard operating hours are 9:00am-4:30pm. On request services include - operating the activities until nightfall and your group can enjoy FREE use of the Bungy Bach until 7:30pm or potentially later on request.

CAPACITY

The Bach has a total maximum capacity of 110 across three distinct areas available for hire. These are;

Inside:

Max pax 25 (seated); 50 pax (cocktail)

The Deck:

Max pax 25 (seated); 50pax (cocktail)

The Jump Pod:

Max 60pax (standard)

ACTIVITIES

Auckland Bridge Bungy

15 guests per 2 hours, additional 15 guests per every subsequent 15mins

Auckland Bridge Climb

15 guests per 2 hours, additional 15 guests per every subsequent 15mins. Bridge Climb has a maximum of 70 people on the bridge at any one time.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

DIY option
Enjoy FREE use of our Bungy Bach and covered outside deck. Includes use of our on-site BBQ, drinks bins and you can BYO Beer, Wine & Spirits. This makes for a great budget friendly food & beverage option for your corporate team event. This relaxed space with its all-weather cover includes built-in seating, bar leaners, stools and a pop up bar area. There are no corkage fees and we’ll even make sure the drinks are on ice ready after your activity.

Catering Options
Choose anything from a simple tea & coffee station, small bites, packed lunches, sharing platters, fully cooked meal or food trucks. We have two preferred but not exclusive providers. You are welcome to work directly with these partners. If you have another preferred caterer that you would like to use that is no problem at all. Please have them contact us so we can confirm what facilities we have available for them to use. Contact us for more details.

ENTERTAINMENT

In addition to Bridge Climb and Bungy we can provide a cricket set, swing ball or volleyball net. We can also arrange the hire of a DJ to take your corporate incentive event to the next level.

SERVICES

If you need any specific theming, props or furniture we work with hire companies that can provide loungers, bar leaners and some great centrepiece options. We can also provide unexpected extras such as merchandise packs, souvenir photos or gift vouchers.
