The Kawarau Bungy Centre is located on State Highway 6 at the Kawarau Bridge, about halfway between Queenstown and Cromwell.

From Queenstown there are two main routes:

From Queenstown: It’s around a 25-minute drive (23 km) via State Highway 6.
From Cromwell: Allow around 30 minutes (27 km) via State Highway 6.
Parking: Free parking is available onsite for visitors.

We recommend checking Google Maps on the day for the most accurate travel times. Please allow extra time during busy holiday periods.

If you’re booked for Bungy, Swing, or Zipride, make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled check-in time.

Self-
Drive

You're welcome to drive yourself; there's plenty of free parking available. The Kawarau Bungy Centre is located on State Highway #6 (SH6), Gibbston Valley, Queenstown. We're open daily from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM (closed Christmas Day). View map

Bus

Risk Disclosure
This activity offers a unique and memorable experience. However, like all adventure experiences it carries an inherent risk that we, as an experienced operator, want to communicate clearly to all participants. See our risk disclosure statement.

AGE
Minimum age is 8 years old. Under 15 requires an adult to sign consent at check-in.

WEIGHT
Participants must have a minimum weight of 30kgs. Maximum 150kgs solo or 240kgs total combined weight for tandem or 3 person swings. For tandem swings, the weight difference between participants may determine your style of Swing.

DURATION
Self-drive: Allow 1.5 hours
Bungy Bus: Allow 2.5 hours

Clothing
Dress comfortably. In winter, we recommend layering up and bringing a jacket.
